After what has felt like an eternity my forearm has almost fully healed. I'm emphasising almost because I know that if I lift too heavy, too soon, it will come back with a vengeance. It's strange because it's only started feeling much better since I started lifting again and wearing the tennis elbow brace. Maybe the increased blood flow has something to do with it?
I'm going to keep the weights light next week as well and continue to stretch out my forearm and strengthen it with wrist curls. Even once I get into the first 'heavy' week of my new routine, the weights will still not be super heavy as I won't be going to failure like I'm used to. I'll also avoid any exercise that aggravates my arm like chins and heavy curls.
