Bench press: 80 kg 9/5/3 + Drop set 60kg for 4, Drop set 40kg for 8
Underhand pullups: 11 kg 9/5/4
Incline dumbbell bench press: 60 kg 8/4/3
Barbell rows (overhand): 62.5 kg 9/6/5
Dumbbell flyes: 17.5 kg 10/6/4
One-arm dumbbell rows: 32.5 kg 10/8/6
Today was a challenging long workout. It went for about an hour and ten minutes, and the last few exercises were extremely difficult due to fatigue. I was disappointed that I didn't increase reps or weight on the bench, but I included some drop sets to push myself harder. Next week I might increase the weight up to 82.5 and see how I go in a slightly lower rep range.
This workout was slightly different than the previous weeks, with the usual incline barbell bench press being replaced with dumbbells, chins replacing wide grip pullups, and overhand rows replacing underhand rows. This is week 6 of the chest/back split and I'm feeling that it's time to change real soon. Either next week or the week after I'll probably be going back to a push, pull, legs routine with a change in the rep range.
