HIIT

It was another hectic day at uni today, but I managed to get in some HIIT on the elliptical between classes which felt really good. My forearm was still relatively painful today so I decided to give tonights push workout a miss, and I'll move it to tomorrow if my forearm stops playing up.

Meal 1  - 1 1/2 cups of oats, 1 cup of low fat milk, and 2 tablespoons of Nature's Way natural protein powder.

Snack  - "Nice and Natural" Nut Bar with Chocolate and a 600ml Coffee Chill

Meal 2 -  Large piece of porter house steak (about 450g), 2 cups of instant brown rice and a cup of mixed frozen veggies

Snack - A bowl of Mundella Honey Yoghurt and a 600ml Choc Chill

Workout - cardio
15 minutes of intense HIIT on the elliptical (15 20 second sprint intervals with 40 second jog intervals in-between)

Meal 3 - Scrambled eggs (3/4 cup of egg whites and 1 yolk), 4 pieces of wholewheat toast and a bowl of salad vegetables

Meal 4 - Protein shake (2 tablespoons of Nature's Way natural protein powder) and a cup of low fat milk.

Snack  - Instant coffee with 1 sugar and a bit of milk, and an apple.
